Anyone who thinks mixed martial arts is just a vicious, bloodthirsty sport where grown men beat the crap out of each other for fun might think differently after seeing Michael Tucker and Petra Epperlein’s Fightville, an in-depth and beautifully shot look at the world of MMA through a group of fighters, trainers and promoters in Southern Louisiana. Fightville follows a cast of characters in and around the Gladiators Academy in Lafayette, a small local gym where philosophy-spouting veteran UFC fighter, ?Crazy? Tim Credeur trains amateur and rising professional fighters. Far away from the bright lights of the big time promotions like the UFC, the movie takes a look at what essentially amounts to the minor leagues of MMA ? where guys are fighting to prove themselves and learn what it takes to become champions. Glamorous it ain’t (the fighters have to mop up their own blood after fights) but what it lacks in luster it makes up for in heart. Dustin Poirier and Albert Stainback are two young fighters working their way through the lower echelons of the brutal sport. These aren’t bad kids who just got out of prison and need a way to make some fast cash, they’re intelligent and driven guys who believe in the honor and integrity of the sport. Young and determined, yet soft-spoken and friendly, Poirier has all the makings of an MMA star. (Since filming he’s made it to the UFC). Trailing slightly behind is Stainback, a well-spoken and charismatic kid whose troubles [...]

Eight months after its original premiere date, NBC's hourlong anthology comedy Love Bites will debut in its original Thursday 10 PM time slot. Love Bites' premiere is set for June 2. Once a high-flying prospect, Love Bites was prominently featured at NBC's updront presentation last May when it was assigned the Thursday 10 PM slot for fall. But in the summer, the series was pushed to midseason after a series of setbacks, including the pregnancy of star Becki Newton, the decision by creator/executive producer Cindy Chupack to step down from day-to-day showrunner duties and the exit of the other original star, Jordana Spiro, because of her commitment to TBS' My Boys. The order for the show was subsequently cut from 13 to 9. With The Paul Reiser Show recently launching for what became a two-week run and Love Bites getting slated, comedy Friends With Benefits now remains the only freshman NBC comedy that has not been scheduled yet. Meanwhile, Newton has a pilot in second position, CBS' untitled Filgos comedy, which could be picked up to series before Love Bites premieres. And Love Bites co-star Greg Grunberg toplines A&E's pilot Big Mike, but his deal for the NBC series was only for one season.

So after all the fuss over the leaked honeymoon scene video and images of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart from 'Twilight Breaking Dawn', suddenly they've appeared everywhere and the producers aren't in a huff. We knew if was just a marketing ploy when it happened before.
Below are images from the honeymoon scenes of vampire Robert Pattinson and wife to be Bella (Kristen Stewart) in the upcoming 'Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1' movie that the producers and studio got all up in arms for. I had a funny feeling that it felt very marketing stunt, and it appears that since the images are out and about now, it was. Or it was just that they promised Entertainment Weekly the exclusive and got worked up when things leaked (or they leaked them to stir up some media attention). Below is a slew of pics from the movie and the video is all the images which are steamier than the ones from before. At least that's the studios idea of steamy, but fans of the movies and Robert Pattinson should enjoy the show. The pics below are more Taylor Lautner running in wet tee shirt which he's becoming quite well known for or just having his shirt off.
Ruben Fleischer, who directed that fun 'Zombieland' we loved so much is back with Jessie Eisenberg and '30 Minutes Or Less' which isn't looking as good. Below is the red and green band trailer for the movie along with lots of pics. http://ping.fm/gtSfE

'30 Minutes Or Less' is another of those films that's flying way under the summer movie radar and hits theaters in August. It looks cute, but nothing majorly funny. Hopefully, it might have the sweetness of 'Adventureland', but we'll see. It's interesting that Jessie Eisenberg is following up 'The Social Network' with this one, but it could be like how Shirley Maclaine's next film after winning in 'Terms Of Endearment' was 'The Cannonball Run 2', but I don't think this one will be that bad. 'Rise Of the Planet Of the Apes' has been pretty much under the radar even with James Franco, but finally more is coming including the featurette below that makes more sense of the teaser trailer that hit the other week.
While all the other big summer movies are just beginning their assault on us, 'Rise Of the Planet Of the Apes' seems to be trying to go the sleeper route and keeping a pretty low profile. We've gotten a few images here and there and then the teaser trailer, but nothing much more. The featurette below explains better of the story for people not aware that this was once a movie franchise. Tom Felton, who's in the movie, gave a little more incite into his character. "He’s not a good guy. People aren’t going to be cheering for me in this film either. It’s villainy, but on a different level… When Caesar, our lead ape, gets too big for James Franco’s character to look after anymore, they have to put him into a facility. Brian Cox, who plays my dad, owns it, and I work there. Needless to say, I’m supposed to be looking after the apes, but I really don’t do that job very well." [callout title=Rise Of the Planet Of the Apes Synopsis]Set in present-day San Francisco, RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES reveals the origins of a war that ultimately led to a global apocalypse – and to Earth becoming the Planet of the Apes. Starring: James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Brian Cox, Tom Felton, David Oyelowo and Andy Serkis.[/callout] Rise Of the Planet Of the Apes hits August 5, 2011.
